I’ve been working in the healthcare field for over a decade. During that time, I’ve always  enjoyed keeping up on the latest news and developments in the industry. However, with nearly every article I’ve read over the years, the same thought kept occurring. “This author doesn’t understand the subject they are reporting on.”

The truth is most of the journalists who report on healthcare issues do not have sufficient understanding of health science or economics to produce an accurate article. Thanks to my training and experience, I’m able to sort through the nonsense and get to the truth,  but I couldn’t help but be bothered by the thought of all those people who read these articles and take them at face value. Well I finally had enough and decided to do something about this problem.

Here on PhreedomRX.com I will be covering the latest news in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, nutrition, nutraceutical and  health insurance industries. I’ll be exposing the junk science (there is a lot of it!) and explaining what you really need to know. I’ll be doing all of this from the perspective of a hospital pharmacist who has long had an interest in economics and free markets. A pharmacist who has seen firsthand the inefficacy and perverse incentives that government has bestowed on our health system and has spent countless hours pondering the correct prescription to fix our problems.
